Amazing Canoeing - Phuket, Thailand

Good evening tourists!

Please allow me to share my worst travel experience ever! There will be no playing around in my review!
We were thinking of going to the James Bond island, so on our 7th night in the city, we have booked a trip for four people (mum, dad, sister, and the brother) with Amazing Canoeing.
The lady was very nice (of course) and although their marketing trick was to sell it with 50% discount, we found the price all right. I'm saying trick, because in the city, at least 70% of the companies doing the same 'happy hour'. So we have booked the trip for 5600 baht for the four of us for the next day. The lady said it will be a speedboat trip. It will be 7 person on board!!! We have chosen, the more comfortable option, because we didn't want to go with like 40 odd other people.
Next day, our pick up van arrived in time. It was about 45 minutes drive and we've arrived to their office. They put us on a bus, which took us to the boats through the pier, where they tried to put us on a speedboat, with at least 30 other people plus the 3 men crew. I have stopped my family, and started asking questions. Where is the 7 person boat, because we have booked that. The tour guide said: No private tour today. I said, well, we have booked it yesterday. He said let him call the agency. The same lady said we booked exactly what they were trying to give us, and i am the one who wants more. I said: NO, i want what i have paid for. Then the guide said, with very poor language skills, and rude attitude: Come or stay, decide now! I said we are not going anywhere, put us in the van, and take us home. He said we probably need to wait for that, and it is going to cost money! I've started losing it, and shouted at him, to sort it out. Nothing has changed. I didn't wanna ruin my family's lovely day, so we have boarded. My mum needed to sit on a little fridge, and the boat so full, we sat like anchovies in a can. My day was ruined, but i still wanted my family to have a good one. They took us to an artificial island, where we had horrible seafood, and we had about 15 minutes before that to check their low quality merchandise, to sell. Typical shopping for tourists. You could buy the same shirts and stuff in town... Then we went to the James Bond island, where we spent about 40 minutes, pictures and more bazaars. It was lovely, i mean the nature itself. Later they took us on another island where the 'amazing canoeing' has happened. For 20 minutes, and it was a waiting time of 10 minutes before we could board on one of them. I thought we are going deep inside the caves, and it will be adventurous. No, just went into one hole, took pictures, and max 15 minutes, we were on board again. I told the tour guide, i am going to complain, get my receipt back. He said, it is in the office: Don't worry boss, you will get it when we are back. I said fine, just make sure u understand what i am saying, and u are not gonna forget about it. He laughed in my face... Our last part was a sandy beach, where we were bombarded, with jet-ski offers, and expensive ice cream and ice coffee. We didn't take any of those. They said 90 minutes here, enjoy. If u wanted a bed on the beach you could get one of course, for 150 baht (for 90 minutes)
Finally back on the boat, We had to pay for the one beer my dad took, their price was 4 times the shop price. Fine, whatever! They gave us slices of pineapple and watermelon. Back to the main island, pier bus, than the office, where i have reminded that 'lovely tour guide' to get my receipt!
He grabbed my arm and said: come boss, let's talk! I guess he didn't want other tourist to hear. I said stop touching me, i don't want to talk to you, just gimme the receipt. He laughed again, saying boss, boss... I have repeated my query. Than he said, his boss already took the receipt, if i want i can talk to my agent, or go to the town office. I've lost it and started to shout bad things at him, and called him a liar, who is just taking the piss out of tourists. Than he shouted back and didn't sort anything out. His attitude was ridiculous!
A minute later i took a picture of him, because i didn't believe him when i asked his name. (He said it was Nun or Noon) At the minute i took the picture, he started pushing me and shouting at me in front of all the tourists, and saying: take it off, take it off. I'm about double the size of the guy and not particularly fat, but i didn't wanna fight him, i am on holiday after all... So i have started shouting Police, Police. He let my arm go. I was very close to punch him. He said if i don't delete the picture there will be no taxi back to the hotel... I have just laughed in his face, saying of course there will be. Our driver took us back, and we thought the nightmare is over. Couple of hours later i have started vomiting and had a massive food poisoning with all the 'side effects', later my dad and sister too. We didn't have anything else to eat or drink, only what they gave us.
That is my story, If we gonna get better, i will be making a massive complaint to the company, but i have the feeling, that no ones gonna care about it.
Mass tourism and the dollar sign in almost every Thai peoples eyes is very annoying in 2013. My dads 4th time in the island , my first and LAST!!!
Please save yourself from Amazing-Canoeing and their lies, and terrible treatment.

it was an absolutely amazing day, loud music, swimming and canoeing with the best crew. i do reccommend using this comapny when visiting thailand :)
