Job offer: Business Development Manager, Europe - German Speaking

​We are currently working on a Business Development Manager role which will be responsible for expanding our clients market presence in Germany, and other countries in Europe, in addition to some key accounts in the UK, by identifying new business opportunities, creating innovative new products with their R&D team, establishing relationships with key decision makers, and driving sales growth and profitability.

This exciting role offers a hybrid work pattern based in the UK, with regular travel to Germany in particular expected. However, it's important to note that the ideal candidate should be located within commutable distance to their office in London.

Category focus will be frozen seafood, finger food and plant-based products for food service and retailers on the continent.

If you have sales experience, ideally from the food industry, and fluency in German, and looking for an opportunity to work with a well-established company, this could be the perfect role for you.

Qualifications:

• Must be fluent in English and German.

• 5+ years of experience in a sales or business development function. Food industry experience preferred but not essential.

• Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.

• Experience in project management and strong presentation skills.

• Ability to travel regularly to customers in European countries, and also Vietnam and other international supplier bases.

What Our Client Offers:

• Salary GBP £40,000 - £60,000 / Annual – depending on experience

• Annual discretionary bonus – personal / company KPIs
