Job offer: Japanese Interpreter / N3+ / Bang Saothong / Up to 50K

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide consecutive and simultaneous interpretation during meetings, training sessions, and daily operations between Japanese and English-speaking personnel.

• Translate technical documents, manuals, reports, emails, and other written materials from Japanese to Thai/English and vice versa.

• Assist in bridging cultural differences and fostering an inclusive work environment by explaining cultural nuances and business practices.

• Assist Japanese visitors, including executives and engineers, by providing interpretation during tours, meetings, and discussions.

• Ensure the accuracy and consistency of translated and interpreted information, particularly technical terminology related to manufacturing processes.

• Support the training of employees by interpreting during instructional sessions and translating training materials.

• Provide additional support to the management team as needed, including scheduling and coordinating meetings with Japanese-speaking stakeholders.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Japanese, Translation, Interpretation, or a related field is preferred.

• Proficiency in both Japanese and English, with excellent verbal and written communication skills in both languages.

• Previous experience as an interpreter or translator in a manufacturing or industrial setting is preferred.

• Understanding of manufacturing processes and terminology is highly desirable.

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build relationships and work collaboratively with diverse teams.

• High level of accuracy and attention to detail in both interpretation and translation tasks.
