Job vacancy Plant Accounting Supervisor

Core Responsibilities: 

•  handle, monitor and review day-to-day plant transactions and ensure accuracy and timely processing. •

• Month-end closing – lead the closing process to ensure that financial data is prepared timely and accurately within due dates. 

• Monthly report’s submission – prepare monthly plant performance report with commentary such as Monthly Manufacturing report and gap analysis vs. planned. 

•  Support for plant processes’ changes and ensure all controls are still active, protective and detective control have been put in place. •

• Account Reconciliations – prepare for monthly account reconciliations to identify for any incorrection from financial statements and reconciled for any finding items and followed up periodically. 

• Lead on data collection i.e manufacturing data collection and perform BOM explosion process of Budgeting and Forecasting Process. 

• Support Costing and Plant accounting Manager as well as FP&A Team on plant Budgeting and Forecasting (“FCST”) analysis and all assumption clarifications. Tax Compliance 

• Comply with tax regulations and support for indirect tax compliance (VAT & Withholding Tax). Internal Control compliance 

• Internal control process – ensure the controlling activities are operated effectively in accordance with the company’s internal control manuals and Sarbanes-Oxley Act (SOX) requirements. 

Qualifications:

• Minimum of Bachelor’s Degree (or advanced degree) in Accounting. 

• Minimum 5 years' experience of plant operation / Manufacturing business background. 

• GAAP, TAX knowledge, BOI regulations and Internal Control are expected to have. 

• Business level of English competency. • Full suite in Microsoft Office and SAP program. 

• Able to travel across upcountry provinces
