POSITION:           MANUFACTURING ENGINEER

SALARY:               80,000 – 100,000 THB / MONTH

LOCATION:          PATHUMTHANI

Job Purpose:

To develop, implement, and maintain methods, operation sequences, and processes in the manufacture of RF and PCBA products. Provide manufacturing engineering support services directly to manufacturing.

Key Responsibilities:

• Process Development: Design, modify, validate, and manage process activities for RF and PCBA products from prototype builds to production release.
• Quality Assurance: Participate in New Product Introductions (NPIs) and Design for Manufacturability (DFM) reviews to ensure quality objectives are achieved.
• Cost Estimation: Estimate manufacturing costs, determine time standards, and make recommendations for tooling and process requirements.
• Tooling and Fixtures: Design and modify tools and fixtures to improve manufacturing methods and product quality.
• Production Support: Train and support production line personnel in manufacturing processes and assembly methods.
• Continuous Improvement: Review existing designs and assembly processes for method improvements that lead to improved quality, productivity, and cost reductions.
• Customer Interaction: Work with Program Managers and customers to implement Engineering Change Orders (ECOs) and deviations.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Electrical Engineering is essential.
• Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in a technology-driven industry, preferably with radio/communications, digital, analog, or electro-mechanical products.
• Proven ability to influence and collaborate with cross-functional teams and third-party contract manufacturing partners.
• Extensive experience in supporting contract manufacturing at both box build and surface mount levels.
• Capability to work effectively within a global organization and with remote teams.
• Proficiency in Thai and English is mandatory; skills in Mandarin are an added advantage.
