René is from the Netherlands and lives in Krabi - Thailand since 1993 where he met and marries Yim. It is in 1995 that together they opened the Maharat Krabi Bakery situated in Krabi Town. At that time they only made breads, but soon they developed into a coffee shop and snack bar. A place where many locals enjoy having a nice treat while chatting with friends.
