Green Beach Travel & Tour - Phuket, Thailand

We had a terrible experience with our transport booking - we were told that a driver would pick us up from Santhiya Resort on Koh Yao Yai and take us to the airport. I called three times to confirm, but despite that on the morning of our flight, after lying to me about the driver being at our location, we were delayed by over an hour and a half, and had to find our own ride to the pier in Koh Yao Yai. This was a very stressful experience, especially since we were flying out from Phuket on that day. DEFINITELY WILL NEVER BOOK AGAIN OR RECOMMEND TO ANYONE.

I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THIS COMPANY AT ALL TO ANY TOURIST.

We paid 3800 baht from Phuket to bangkok. First bus to surat thani train station and the a night train to bangkok. We ended up in a minivan that only took us to the busterminal. When we got to the trainstation finally, there was no tickets for us to a train. And no train that even departures at 7 pm.

Avoid at any cost. This is very non-Thai like kind of businesses. Normally it is efficiency that one gets used to in this lovely country, but when it comes to Green Beach Phuket, there was manipulation and untruth instead.

Under a promise of taking the fast bus in order to make it from Phuket Town to Kho Phayam in one day, I agreed to pay more than double of the price as opposed to the normal public services. The Green Beach agency however put me on the very public bus I paid the extra 120% to avoid. The sister agency in Ranong wasn't apparently even informed to pick me up and I've missed the last boat to the island.

Green Beach Phuket proved to be dysfunctional, dishonest and greedy. The type of business practise I've only came across in Vietnam when it comes to Se Asia. Never before in Thailand I was intentionally misled by a travel agent. Until now, I always experienced an extra mile kind of attitude, to meet their end of the deal.

Spare yourself the disappointment and use any other, honest Thai agent. This guy is a minor exception to the otherwise exceptional services in Thailand.
