Position: Project Engineer (Automotive)

Location: Klong Luang, Patumthani

Company profile: Our client is well-established company specializes in a full-service manufacturer and distributor of rubber, plastic, and steel components for automotive braking, sealing, and wiping applications. We are looking for Sales Engineer and Project Specialist who supporting the sales growth by overseeing technical functions and leading the teamwork towards the achievement of goals.

Responsibilities :

• Sales and technical support to customers 
• Analyze and manage the technical feasibility project including production capacity, timeline, forecast and packaging etc.
• Manage and support with customer as the contact person for technical purpose during the design phase until SOP and post SOP for technical and production issues.
• Provide feedback to customer for post-SOP technical issues such as complaints support, packaging changes, etc.
• Ensures the correct technical documentation including (exemplary and non-exhaustive list) drawings, specifications, samples, molds, project plan including processing and communication of production capacities, sending PPAP documentation and management of customer feedback up to obtaining approval.
• Internal coordination for mold marking and customer formalization as well as verifying mass production capabilities.
• Coordinate with internal stakeholders between group company.

Qualifications:

• Educational background in Engineering, and any related fields.
• Experience at least 5 years as a technical role in rubber-plastic business from Automotive manufacturing industry.
• Strong end-to-end project management in term of manpower, budget, and project lead time.
• Knowledge in IATF and APQP rules, molding and finishing process for Rubber and Plastic
• Ability to lead and motivate a team as well as project management.
• Logical thinking, fast learner, good problem-solving skill and able to work under pressure.
• Good command in Microsoft Office.
• Fluent English, Chinese and Japanese would be the plus.
