Job vacancy Field Technician – Meat Processing

Germany - Remote

Our client, a global supplier of casings to the processed meats and sausage industry, is seeking a Field Technician in Germany. This remote role requires someone who is comfortable managing their own schedule, able to travel, and has an understanding of sausage production.

As a Field Technician, you will provide technical support to our clients' existing and potential new sausage producing customers in Germany. You will enable our clients' casing products to move effectively through the customers' end-to-end manufacturing processes, from recipe formulation to packing and storing.

In addition, you will identify and develop new efficiencies and optimizations at existing customers to add value beyond our clients' casing products. You will also work closely with sales colleagues in the area of new product development and product customization, proactively providing technical details on customers' processing capabilities to R&D colleagues.

Qualifications:

• Experience / knowledge of sausage manufacturing and/or sausage casing, packaging, meat processing machinery, functional ingredients for sausage applications.

• German as native speaker.

• Good level in written and spoken English

• Hands on approach, able to travel to customer sites.

• Ideally being familiar of all meat casing types and major sausage applications.

• Understanding of meat processing equipment, product formulations, stuffing and linking equipment.

• Understand the operation of collating, loading and packaging equipment.
