Our client is a non-food consumer goods company. 

The Managing Director is responsible for leading the overall business operations and strategic direction of the company. The MD will drive growth, ensure profitability, and maintain operational efficiency while upholding the company's values, standards, and compliance with corporate governance as required by a listed entity. The MD will provide leadership across all functions, including sales, production, finance, HR, and R&D, ensuring the company's competitive positioning in the industry both domestically and internationally.
 

Key Responsibilities

  • Strategic Leadership:
    • Develop and implement the company's overall business strategy to drive sustainable growth and market expansion.
    • Provide leadership in aligning the company's goals with its long-term vision, particularly in innovation, quality standards, and customer satisfaction.
    • Oversee corporate governance, ensuring compliance with stock exchange regulations and other relevant laws and standards.
  • Business Development and Sales:
    • Expand market share both locally and internationally by driving new business opportunities and partnerships.
    • Lead sales, marketing, and distribution efforts to ensure the company's products meet market demand.
    • Build strong relationships with key customers, partners, and industry stakeholders to enhance the company's competitive positioning.
  • Operations Management:
    • Ensure the efficient operation of all business units, including manufacturing, logistics, supply chain, and product development.
    • Drive innovation in production processes to improve quality and cost-efficiency.
    • Oversee safety standards and sustainability initiatives in the manufacturing processes.
  • Financial Oversight:
    • Manage the company’s financial performance, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting, ensuring transparency to shareholders and compliance with financial regulations.
    • Lead efforts to increase profitability through cost optimization and margin improvement.
    • Maintain strong relationships with investors, stakeholders, and board members.
  • Human Resources and Organizational Development:
    • Lead and develop the company’s executive team, fostering a culture of excellence, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
    • Oversee talent acquisition, retention, and development, ensuring a skilled workforce that can meet business objectives.
    • Promote a high-performance organizational culture aligned with the company's values and mission.
  • Risk Management and Compliance:
    • Identify and mitigate potential risks to the company’s operations, financial stability, and market reputation.
    • Ensure compliance with all legal, environmental, and industry-specific regulations.
  • Innovation and Sustainability:
    • Champion innovation in product design and production techniques, ensuring the company stays at the forefront of the industry.
    • Promote sustainability initiatives and environmentally friendly practices in all areas of production and business operations.

 

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
  • Proven track record of successfully leading a listed company, including strong financial management and corporate governance experience.
  • Good experience in expanding market presence both locally and internationally
  • Good knowledge of manufacturing operations, supply chain management, and product development.
  • Strong leadership and decision-making skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate cross-functional teams.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Strong understanding of Thai regulations and corporate governance standards for listed companies.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with fluency in Thai and proficiency in English
