Head of Freight Forwarding

Salary: 280,000 – 350,000 THB (Open to discussing if beyond this range)

Job Summary:

The BU Head of Freight Forwarding is responsible for overseeing and managing all aspects of the freight forwarding business unit within Asia Pacific markets. This role involves strategic planning, business development, operational management, and ensuring compliance with international trade regulations. 

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement strategic plans to achieve business objectives and drive growth of Asia Pacific markets
• Lead and manage the freight forwarding team, providing guidance and support to ensure high performance.
• Monitor industry trends and market conditions to identify opportunities for expansion and improvement.
• Identify and pursue new business opportunities in Asia Pacific markets
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, carriers, and other stakeholders.
• Oversee the operations of the freight forwarding unit, ensuring efficient and effective service delivery.
• Monitor financial performance and implement measures to achieve financial targets.
• Conduct regular financial analysis and reporting to President of Asia Pacific. 

Qualifications:

• Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Minimum of 7-10 years of experience in freight forwarding or logistics, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
• Strong understanding of international trade regulations and compliance.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and negotiation skills.
• Proven ability to develop and implement strategic plans.

• Open to either Thai or Expat.
