Job offer: ​Business Development – Food & Agri Ingredient

We are working on an interesting opportunity with a global agriculture commodity trading company. They are looking to hire a talented individual contributor with experience to support business growth for the Thailand Office.

The role will largely be focused on increasing our sales for key commodity products such as Starch and Grain to MNC’s or large industrial buyers in Thailand. This role is pivotal in driving company growth by making informed daily commercial decisions.

Key responsibilities include developing and overseeing B2B client relationships and contract positions in Thailand across physical and futures markets, with a focus on risk management. It also involves expanding in-country sales and procurement of food ingredients and packaging products to boost volumes and profitability.

Close collaboration with trade finance, accounting, operations, and trading desks ensures comprehensive support. Providing timely information on market demand and client performance supports the company's supply and demand strategies.

Qualifications:

• Degree qualified in Food Science or Business-related fields.

• Fluency in English Language.

• Experiences in food ingredient business development and domestic trading in Thailand, preferably familiar with B2B supply chain.

• Good understanding on credit risk and trade financing would be a great advantage.

• Preferably has good research and data analytics skills.
