Job vacancy Head of Equity Derivative

Job Description:

• To head, manage and ensure a smooth running of the department which shall include (but not limited to) the following:
• Design appropriate origination, trading, hedging and risk management strategies for Derivative Products and Structured Products issued. 
• Provide market outlook, news, strategies and trading ideas on Derivative Products and DSP products to sales teams and local/foreign clients. 
• Work closely with other relevant departments to originate and market innovative Derivative Products and DSP products for clients. 
• Strengthen and expand new businesses and new client base through effective offering/issuance of Derivative Products and structured products. 
• Participate in cross-selling of the firm’s products and services. 
• Comply with the relevant Acts, Laws, regulatory directives, guidelines, policies, and rulings issued by the authorities as well as internal control policies and procedures. 
• Manage effectively and ensure the smooth running of all dealing and operational activities of the department. 
• Most importantly, responsible for achieving the profitability of the department.

Qualifications: 

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Finance, Economic or related field.
• Obtain IC Complex 3 License.
• Strong knowledge of Derivatives asset pricing methodologies and hedging techniques.
• Excellent analytically and problem-solving skills - Strong skills in Microsoft Excel, VBA or other programming language.
• Leadership and management skills - Excellent command of English
