Job vacancy Procurement Manager - Food Ingredients

We are working on an excellent opportunity with an Asia-based food ingredients producer, supplying a wide variety of food ingredients in the Thailand market. They are looking for a talented Procurement Manager to join their organization.  

The Procurement Manager will support the food ingredient categories, leading and strategizing sourcing efforts along with negotiating raw material deals for cost-effectiveness covering the raw materials, commodities, food ingredients, and some indirect parts for the company.

Main responsibilities include ensuring timely delivery, maintaining supplier relationships, monitoring market trends, auditing vendor compliance, and supporting cross-departmental collaboration for efficient purchasing and project support. This role requires hands-on experience in developing and implementing sourcing and purchasing strategies.

Qualifications:

• Degree qualified.

• Experience in a procurement/ buyer/ sourcing or purchasing-related function from within the food B2B industry.

• Knowledge in GMP, HACCP and HALAL certifications will be an advantage.

• Good command of English and computer literacy.

• Strategic thinking and leadership skills with good analytical and problem-solving skills.
