Position: Material Planning Manager
 

Job Description
•    Determining the required materials and generating purchase orders both local and global.
•    Managing stakeholders’ expectation and ensure alignment on materials order and inventory strategies.
•    Ensuring materials meet specifications, quality standards, and are cost-efficient.
•    Ensuring the consistent and adequate supply of materials necessary for short-to-long term production.
•    Assuring a supply of material with optimized inventory levels and minimum deviation between planned and actual results.
•    Tracking production volume and monitoring customer demand patterns and purchasing trends.
•    Developing process and policies across supply chain and sustainability and value chain.
•    Scheduling and overseeing the supply and delivery of materials and products as well as inventory control.
•    Leading the improvement project and coordinate with internal and external stakeholders.
•    Preparing cost estimates and performance reports.
 

Qualification
•    Education background from Supply Chain Management, Economics, Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, or any related fields.
•    Experience over 7 years in Material Requirement Planning, Production Scheduling, Supply Chain Management, and Inventory Management from multinational manufacturing industry.
•    Strong knowledge in Material Requirement Planning (MRP), Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP), data analysis and presentation.
•    Good understanding of supply chain risk management for long term material planning.
•    Good analytical skill with the ability to interpret data, being as advisor for market trend.
•    Good communication and negotiation skill, interpersonal with ability to be an independently contributor plus working with internal and external stakeholders.
•    Excellent English communication.
